I made a D in photography at University. My professor said I lacked focus, that I was lazy and sloppy, and had no artistic soul. Eh. I didn't like dodging and burning, or mounting and framing, and Photoshop hadn't been invented yet. I just like to think I was ahead of my time.
Most of the time, I take photos using my Motorola cell phone. Other times, I use the Lumix digital camera I won playing Scene-It at my husband's Christmas party in 2007. All those wasted years paid off.
On the way home from OKC, we stopped at a truck stop for gas and other necessities. Imagine my surprise when I walked into the black marble ladies room. That's right. Black marble in a truck stop.
